Pink. Now everyone assumes thats a girls favourite colour, and many of which are wrong. Myself, and I’m sure a lot of others, tend to be drawn towards more earthy tones, and most of which, the colour black. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do love pink – but when it comes to clothing, that isn’t always my first choice.
Although lately, its been difficult to ignore the likes of Carven, Rocha and Valentino, incorporating within their collection, a bubblegum pink to die for. Even though the colour may seem slightly overwhelming, there are so many ways to work this colour into any wardrobe.
The correct way to make it work, is by making the piece/colour the focal point – meaning, let the one item speak for itself, while allowing the rest of your outfit to blend in seamlessly. Keep every other item within the neutrals, this allows for a guarantee that you won’t end up on the faux-pas list.
Now, here are some looks that have left me drooling over my computer screen, in a state of lust – which will hopefully win you over from the dark side.
