I’ve baked a lot of brownies in my 22 years, but literally NONE of them compare to these ones. It’s so hard to explain how unbelievably delicious they were. Basically, they were Ryan Gosling in the form of brownies (..that makes sense right?)! I can’t emphasize enough how good they were.. So I guess I should just get to the recipe! (side note – I apologize about my nails…)
What you’ll need:
2 packages of raw unsalted almonds (100 per package) ground
2 + a little less than 1/2 cup icing sugar
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
4 egg whites
2 tsp vanilla
First, preheat your oven to 350F. Next, ground up all of your almonds and transfer to a large bowl.
Next, combine all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Now separate the egg whites and yolks then add the vanilla.
Mix the egg whites and vanilla with the dry ingredients. It doesn’t seem like a lot, but I promise you it will all mix together!!
Just to show you how thick (and delicious) the mixture is!
Next, pour the mixture into a greased pan. I used a round one, but you can use any you want!
Bake for 20 minutes. The cook book said 40-45 which seemed a bit excessive.. Thank goodness I didn’t because they would have been more than burned!
Now.. ENJOY!!!

Happy eating 🙂
