Street Style: Hats
I don’t know what I would do without hats.
Not only am I a jacket collector, I’ve now become a hat collector.
Beanies, wide-brims, fedoras, ect. you name it, I probably have it.
Wide-brim hats and baseball caps especially, have become very prominent on the style scene this past year.
Hats are great to dress up or dress down an outfit, and theres such an array of hats to choose from you can never get bored!
Here are some street style hat inspirations to get you all on the hat bandwagon!

Street Style: Tartan
If you’re a Clueless fanatic like myself, then you’ll love the fact that tartan is back on the style bandwagon.
Not only does tartan make you feel like Cher, wearing it brings about a sense of nostalgia for those, like myself, who wore uniforms in high school.
The thing I love most about tartan is you can swing it either way – you can make it come off as super girly, or edgy + grungy!
The choice is yours.
Here are some street style photos to inspire you all to throw a little tartan in your wardrobe!
Which tartan pieces are you wanting to rock? Let us know in the comments!

Street Style: Winter Coats
With this winter season dwindling ever so slowly, your jacket becomes your best friend.
So wear something you love during this not-so-pleasant time.. Even if where you live doesn’t require a the need for a jacket to brave -21 degree temperatures, its still nice to have a stylish jacket that’ll keep you warm.
Take a cue from these fashionable women and try a pastel, vibrant print, or shaggy option.
And if you don’t feel like stepping outside of your comfort zone (sometimes we don’t either), we’ve got some inspiration for you too.

In The Know: Best Sunglasses For Your Face Shape
I think it is so important to own a pair of classic sunglasses which are timeless and most flattering to your face shape
There are so many instances where people choose sunglasses which overwhelm or don’t compliment ones face, so it’s nice to know which ones to buy, and which sunglasses to steer clear of
Round Face:
Seen below on Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, rectangular shaped sunglasses always compliment one with a round face best – allowing for a timeless and chic statement to be achieved
1. Balenciaga Rectangular Frames – $360 FARFETCH.COM
2. True Religion ‘Jordan’ Sunglasses – $160 AMAZON.COM
3. Oliver Peoples ‘Bernardo’ Sunglasses – $430 LN-CC.COM

8 Not So Boring LBD’sSo I know this isn’t just me – lots of colour to choose from in my closet… but I always seem to end up wearing all black. Now I really have zero qualms with this, who doesn’t love black?
But sometimes it’s nice for the black to not look ‘oh so boring’
I devised a short list of 8 little black dresses in every price point which I think help add some sass and flare to this colour
1. Topshop Embellished Armour Shift Dress – $88 TOPSHOP.COM
2. Nelly Scalloped Bodycon Dress – $58 NELLY.COM
3. Landi Gathered Cinched Waist Dress – $585 BLEUCLOTHING.COM
4. Meadham Kirchhoff Black Velvet Ophelia Dress – $1095 AVENUE32.COM
5. Warehouse Leather and Feather Dress – $140 WAREHOUSE.CO.UK
6. Joseph ‘Lola’ Sequinned Dress – $450 FARFETCH.COM
7. Forever 21 Fancy Cutout A-line Dress – $20 FOREVER21.COM
8. Valentino Silk Dress with Flounce Skirt – $4445 STYLEBOP.COM
Tips:
– If you want to add colour, think about trying a statement necklace or bold clutch to spice it up
– When wearing a fuller dress, choose a handbag which is smaller in size, in order to not look bulky
– When choosing bold jewelry, try to keep it to 1 or 2 pieces so you don’t overpower your outfit and end up looking tacky
– In the end, pick the dress which flatters your shape the most, don’t base your pick off of a trend; if you don’t feel confident and comfortable, you won’t enjoy your night!

Sweater Weather
The time has come, at least for us over here in Canada – to bundle right up, and attempt to not look like a marshmallow in the process. Even though I do sometimes dread winter weather, there are so many more fun accessories and layers which can happen during this season. Now, when looking for a sweater, I try to stray as far as possible from anything itchy or irritating (even if it looks nice), if you don’t feel comfortable – it will show. Feeling your best, while remaining warm is a hard task to complete, but it’s possible – even I’ve accomplished it!
Here are some sweaters which I love, in every price point – and hopefully you will love them too!

15 Ways to Look Pretty in Pink
Pink. Now everyone assumes thats a girls favourite colour, and many of which are wrong. Myself, and I’m sure a lot of others, tend to be drawn towards more earthy tones, and most of which, the colour black. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do love pink – but when it comes to clothing, that isn’t always my first choice.Although lately, its been difficult to ignore the likes of Carven, Rocha and Valentino, incorporating within their collection, a bubblegum pink to die for. Even though the colour may seem slightly overwhelming, there are so many ways to work this colour into any wardrobe. The correct way to make it work, is by making the piece/colour the focal point – meaning, let the one item speak for itself, while allowing the rest of your outfit to blend in seamlessly. Keep every other item within the neutrals, this allows for a guarantee that you won’t end up on the faux-pas list.
Now, here are some looks that have left me drooling over my computer screen, in a state of lust – which will hopefully win you over from the dark side.

Hermes Festival
I had the pleasure of attending the Hermès exhibit last week at the Design Exchange in downtown Toronto. This exhibit was in place to celebrate the craftsmen who have helped make the brand what it is today. Hermès itself is such a renowned and regal brand, so I was pleased to see that they were taking the time to share with everyone what goes into their products.
I really had no idea what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised……
Upon entering the exhibit, it seemed very small, but there was lots to do. There were several stations throughout the room demonstrating each of Hermès’ products, and how they are made.
Each person at every station had been flown in from Paris, straight from the production line – these people were the real deal! It was so amazing to see each and every little detail that went into these products – which totally justifies the price.
Now I know most of you just want to see the Birkin’s, but we were only lucky enough to see the Kelly being made, which was good enough for me!
Now only $19,896 left to go until I can get my hands on a Birkin.
